I have not written that many "shopping" - London tips yet, I will try to improve on that, but I did write about a good shop for vintage/ thrift-shopping in London a few months ago, which you all seemed to enjoy a lot. I therefore wanted to write some more about thrift-shopping in London, and recommend another great shop.
Blitz is a huge thrift shop in East London, Shoreditch, that we visited yesterday. I have previously shared my thoughts on vintage/ thrift-shopping in Camden and Notting Hill, which are great tourist-places which I really love, but where there is not too much good thrift-shops (at least when it comes to fashion). If you really want to have a full day on thrift-shopping, I recommend you to take a trip to East London, more specifically Shoreditch and Brick Lane. While we walked down the streets yesterday, we saw great-looking shops everywhere. There are a lot of different ones, big, small, expensive and cheap, and they are all so much fun to have a look through. There is also a Rokit Vintage there, which I have written about before. Blitz is only one of the many stores you can find there, but I want to mention it because it is so extremely big and good.
With two big floors, high ceiling, a rustic feeling and even a small café inside the store, Blitz has a lot to offer. It is a vintage department store, covering all floors of a glorious old furniture factory. Here you can find vintage clothes (both real designer and cheap items), accessories, books, records, shoes and so much more. You could easily spend a whole day here, just looking through everything they have to offer, hunting for the greatest items. The prices do of course range a lot (from the cheap simplest t-shirts to the designer coats), but I would say there is a lot of good bargains to be made here. In addition you get a 10% student discount, which is always fun!
