LONDON FOOD: WINE&WAFFLES
Waffles & wine - the perfect combo. After doing the Fashion Show at the Bloggers Love Hub at Mahiki last night (which I will blog more about when I get my photos), we were craving some good food and a glass of wine. We headed to South Kensington (my new favorite spot), and quickly saw a restaurant with words like "crêpes, waffles, ice cream, wine and beer" on their sign. We went in to the charming café/restaurant, and had a hard time choosing what to order - the menu had so many tempting dishes! If I could, I would have ordered several crepes, waffles and also some ice cream - but I was not that hungry. We ended up sharing a bottle of rosé wine (house wine - really good and fruity!) and ordering a waffle/crepe dish each. Me and Bethany decided on the Strawberry Banana Belgian Chocolate waffle, Georgina got the Oreo Waffle and Livi tried the Toffee Crêpe - did I mention all the dishes included ice cream? When we (really quickly) received our food, we used 5 minutes taking too many photos, continued by 5 quite minutes of eating and enjoying the delicious food - before speaking about how delicious it was. It was a great post-fashion show meal, and I can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes!
